Haha, I've heard of storm chasing (and would love to one day) but Ray chasing. Well, with what you have so far, I think you really could. Is there something in the air making them so visible?

:) actually, no, it's just the fact that when the sun is not too high it hits the trees and its light is scattered into those rays
of course, dust in the air or a little fog would increase the effect, catching and underlining the light but too bad, we haven't got that often fog in the forest here... i dream when i see dutch guy images here :)
